Hidden throughout the Moab desert are slot canyons carved hundreds of feet deep into the ancient sandstone, sometimes so narrow that you can touch both sides at once. These remote canyons see few visitors, and only by the use of ropes for rappelling and rock scrambling can their narrow passages be navigated.
This expansive landscape offers real and metaphoric openings to explore those questions that you didn't know you were ready to answer about what matters most in your life. What are you really here to do? Where is the gap in your life and more importantly what's stopping you from bridging it?
Adventures in the canyons around Moab are scenic and you don't need any previous experience to enjoy them. We'll explore Hidden Splendor Slot Canyon on Saturday and then Climb Looking Glass Dome on Sunday. Depending on our timing, we may do some more rock climbing on moderate routes at the Ice Cream Parlor, a Moab crag, on our way home. This trip includes deluxe accommodations in Moab, all meals (2)B, (3)L, (3)D, and all technical climbing gear.
You bring your curiosity, sense of adventure and desire to authentically explore the landscape outside and inside yourself.
We'll depart around noon Friday October 20, gathering in Bergen Park to carpool and return on Sunday around 9:00 pm.
Cost: $1200
